The Richmond Fruit Tree Sharing Project connects volunteers with growing and harvesting fruit and vegetables – for our neighbours in need.
Please consider making a contribution by clicking the CanadaHelps button below.
Your kind donation will be used to buy materials and supplies for the farm and orchard such as tools, herb seedlings, organic fertilizer, gloves etc.
If you have any questions, please contact marygazetas@shaw.ca for further details about the project's current needs. Thank you.

The Sharing Farm project is located at two sites: South end of Gilbert Road beside the City Tree Nursery, and in the Terra Nova Rural Park – 2631 Westminster Highway, near the West Dyke.
The Terra Nova Sharing Farm is the project's permanent home.
In nine years the Richmond Fruit Tree Sharing Project has harvested over 200,000 pounds of fruit and vegetables to give to those living with poverty.

The Terra Nova Sharing Farm was a busy place on Saturday, May the 29th when over 200 TELUS employees volunteered to help make planting rows in the fields, planted herbs and veggie starts and weeded cheerfully in the rain that never let up.
TELUS also gave our project recently a community grant of $5000!
The Richmond Fruit Tree Sharing Project sold all 15 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares. A small portion of vegetables, herbs and fruit were sold to shareholders in order to raise much needed funds to buy seeds and fertilizer and pay for our amazing staff.

This group is continuing in its third year and meets Thursdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and Mondays from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. People of all ages are welcome to come out and help in the greenhouse, the hoop houses and new seeding room. For further information please email Susan Leehem.
